Bharat Series Registration (BH): Indian defense personnel and central employees often face transfers due to their jobs. They suffer the most from the regular number as it is very difficult to transfer vehicle registration from one state to another.
To solve this problem, in 2021, the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MORTH) started issuing BH series i.e. Bharat series number plates for such vehicles.

How to apply for Bharat series number
- Step 1: For this, you have to apply online. The vehicle seller will fill out the online form on behalf of the buyer on the vehicle portal.
- Step 2: You need to submit some documents to complete this process. The dealer will fill out all the required documents and pay the required duty or motor vehicle tax.
- Step 3: Pay for it online.
- Step 4: After this, you will get approval from RTO.
