Currently, the range of electric bicycles is quite limited, as small batteries are used in them. But Optbike has made such an electric cycle, knowing the merits of which you will be surprised.

The name of this e-cycle is R22 Everest. In terms of range, it can even outperform many electric cars across the world. The R22 Everest is a mountain bike that uses a 3,260 Wh lithium-ion battery.

The battery pack can also be removed from the cycle. This cycle has a battery of 3.26 kWh, which weighs about 16 kg. The capacity of this e-cycle is much higher than the normal e-cycle.

Its battery is bigger than the battery pack found in many electric scooters and bikes. Another special feature of R22 Everest is that it has a top speed of 58 kmph.

Optibike claims that the e-cycle can go up to 510 km on a single charge. It has been designed for rough terrain. The company claims that it can climb up to 40 percent grade.

Its carbon-fiber frame and swing arm and long travel suspension make it strong and comfortable in challenging conditions. Disc brakes have also been given in it.

The R22 Everest gets a back lit LCD screen, in which information like battery power, speed, trip odometer and life time odometer can be seen.

The Opti bike claims that if tested on the world's highest mountain, the R22 can climb Everest, just a road.

The cost of this e-cycle is US$ 18,900, which is approximately Rs. 15 lakhs. The company says that these cycles will be available only in limited numbers.
