Hero-Honda dominated the Indian two wheeler segment for many years. However, now Hero and Honda have separated from this joint venture.

Honda's CB Shine is also one of the best selling bikes in India. Recently it has crossed the 1 crore unit sales mark.

Honda's CB Shine is currently the third best selling motorcycle in the overall motorcycle market in India.

It is well-liked due to the strong engine and great features. In the financial year 2021-22, this bike has been included in the top-3 in terms of sales.

Hero Splendor is on the first position. In 2021-22, 26.65 lakh units of Splendor have been sold and with this it has captured 35.49 percent of the market.

Hero's HF Deluxe is at number two, which has sold 11.65 lakh units and with this it has captured 15.51 market.

In 2021-22, Honda CB Shine has sold 11.01 lakh units and with this it has secured the third position with a share of 14.67 percent.

If we talk about 125 cc segment, then there is no competition for Honda CB Shine. The share of Honda CB Shine in this segment is more than 50 percent.

The company has launched two upgraded versions of CB Shine in this year. Its drum brake variant costs Rs 72,787.

The disc brake variant costs Rs 77,582. The company has given features like analog speedometer, fuel gauge and odometer in the console of this bike.

Honda CB Shine is powered by a 125 cc engine, which is capable of generating 10.72 bhp power and 10.9 Nm torque.
