Tata Motors has opened bookings for the Altroz CNG for a token amount of Rs 21,000.
Deliveries of the new CNG model will begin in May, with prices yet to be announced.
The Altroz CNG will be offered in XE, XM+, XZ, and XZ+ trims.
It is powered by a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder engine with a new twin-cylinder CNG set-up.
The car can start directly in CNG mode, just like the Tiago and Tigor CNG models.
The Altroz CNG has top-notch safety features such as 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, and stability control.
The car also has a new dual-cylinder set-up that splits the CNG cylinders into two 30-litre tanks.
The Altroz CNG has a 5-star Global NCAP rating based on the old testing protocols.
The top-spec Altroz CNG trim comes with a 7.0-inch touchscreen, digital driver's display, and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.
The Altroz CNG is expected to cost around Rs 90,000 more than its petrol manual counterpart, competing with Maruti Suzuki Baleno CNG and Toyota Glanza CNG in the premium hatchback segment.
