Honda plans to make its Chinese fleet all-electric by mid-2020s and unveils three new EVs at the 2023 Shanghai Auto Show.
The e:NP2 and e:NS2 SUVs are set to go on sale in early 2024 while the e:N SUV Prologue concept will give rise to multiple models by end-2024.
The e:NP2 and e:NS2 are based on the HR-V but feature more evolutionary styling with coupe-like rooflines and sharper body lines.
The e:NS2 features a light bar that connects vertical LED daytime running lights on either end and runs through the Honda insignia.
GAC Honda will produce the e:NP2 while Dongfeng Honda will roll out the e:NS2.
The e:N SUV Prologue takes inspiration from the CR-V and will be underpinned by the new e:N Architecture W.
The e:N SUV Prologue features a more aggressive design than the HR-V, with sharper lines and a muscular stance.
Technical details about these prototypes have not been released yet.
We can expect the production models to be equipped with more advanced infotainment systems and ADAS functionalities.
These new electric SUVs represent an exciting glimpse into the future of Honda's EV lineup.
