According to reports, Hindustan Motors is planning to make an electric two-wheeler. Electric two-wheeler is a fast emerging market in the country. That's why the company has chosen it for the comeback

Hindustan Motors' first electric two-wheeler can be launched in 2023. For this, the company has partnered with a European firm.

Hindustan Motors director Uttam Bose says that there will be talks on finance and joint venture technology between the two companies, it may take 2 to 3 months.

After this a new company will be formed and all this is expected by February 15. According to this, the first electric two-wheeler can be launched at the end of the next financial year.

Two years after the launch of the two-wheeler, the company will decide on making an electric four wheeler. The company will upgrade the country's oldest Uttarpara plant for two-wheeler manufacturing.

This is the only plant in the country, where facilities like forging, foundry, paint shop, assembly and welding shop are available, which makes it an integrated automobile plant.
