2022 Mahindra Scorpio Classic unveiled - Know exterior, interior, specs, features and Price 


Mahindra has unveiled the Scorpio Classic, The new Scorpio Classic aims to create a niche between the Thar and Scorpio in Mahindra's portfolio.

Mahindra is offering the Scorpio Classic in two variants - entry-level S and fully-loaded S11. The new model makes changes to a number of features including headlights, seats, and internal features.

The Scorpio Classic features some cosmetic updates over the previous-gen Scorpio, including the addition of Mahindra's latest 'twin-peaks' SUV logo

The Scorpio Classic has a new front grill, restyled front bumper, DRLs on the front to give it more energy, and a skid plate up front. The rear includes the updated tower LED tail lights.

Scorpio Classic has a 2.2-liter mHawk four-cylinder diesel engine with a 6-speed manual transmission, This engine generates 132 PS of power and 300 Nm of torque. a rear-wheel drive setup as standard.

Overall cabin layout of the Scorpio Classic is the same as the previous model, it is now equipped with a 9-inch infotainment system with phone mirroring.

 It gets a new seat black and beige theme inside, with faux wood dashboard inserts and a leatherette steering wheel. 

Other features on offer include cruise control, front and rear armrest, sunglass holder, automatic climate control, projector headlamps, electrically adjustable wing mirrors, and so on.

On safety, the new Mahindra Scorpio Classic gets dual airbags, ABS with EBD, a front seat belt reminder lamp, rear parking sensors, high-speed alert, and panic brake indication.

Pricing for the new Mahindra Scorpio Classic is yet to be revealed. Considering the fact that the new Mahindra Scorpio-N is currently priced from Rs 11.99 lakh.

we expect the Scorpio Classic to be available from a starting price of about Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom) in order to undercut the former.
