Star city plus is part of TVS Motor Company’s commuter line-up. TVS Motor has introduced three variants of this bike, including mono tone, dual tone and disc. The new Star City gets new features and updated styling in addition to the revised engine.
The TVS Star City Plus is powered by a 109 cc, fuel-injected engine that produces 8bhp at 7,350rpm and 8.7Nm at 4,500rpm, and this engine is controlled by a four-speed gearbox. This engine has a slight drop in performance compared to the BS4 engine. The company has claimed that the new Fi engine is 15 percent more fuel efficient than its carb variant. Both wheels of the base variant have drum brakes, while the premium variants get petal-type disc brakes at the front.
The TVS Star City Plus features flower LED headlamps, USB charger, dual-tone seat and five-step adjustable shock absorber at the rear. Along with this, the bike semi-digital instrument cluster has also been given. TVS Motor has introduced this bike with a new style, it has a new bikini fairing, fuel tank and rear panel, giving it a sporty appeal.
The front of the bike has a disc / drum brake and rear drum brake and along with this, the combined braking system of both the wheels is also given. This bike weighs 116 kg and has a 10-liter fuel tank.
