Tata Tiago EV: Tata Motors has launched India’s cheapest electric car. The festival season is going on in India and in the meantime Tata has launched its entry level electric car Tiago EV. Tata rules one-sided in India’s electric segment and now Tata has also launched the country’s first electric hatchback car, which will further strengthen its hold in the Tata electric segment. There was a lot of craze in India for the Tata Tiago EV for a few months now. Finally the company has launched it at a very affordable price.

Battery and range
Tata offers a lot of powerful features in this new Tiago EV. The company has given a 24kWh battery pack in this electric car, which is capable of providing a range of up to 315 km on a full charge. Along with this, the company has also given the option of a smaller battery pack of 19.2kWh, which is capable of providing a range of about 250 km on a full charge. Tata has given a front wheel drive setup with an electric motor in the new Tiago EV, which is also in the Tigor EV.
Engine and Charging Time
Tata has given a powerful electric motor in the new Tiago EV, which is capable of generating 74.7 PS of power and 170 Nm of torque. Tata Motors has claimed that the battery of this car is 80 percent charged in just 56 minutes. The new Tiago EV accelerates from 0 to 60 kilometers in just 5.7 seconds. Apart from this, Tata has also given advanced features like cruise control, multiple re-gen modes in the Tiago EV.

Price
Ever since Tata Motors confirmed that the electric version of the Tiago would be coming, it was being speculated that it would be the cheapest electric car in India. The price of Tata Tiago EV was also being estimated that the price of this car could be around 10 lakhs. But the company launched it at an ex-showroom starting price of just Rs 8.49 lakh and the ex-showroom price of its top variant goes up to Rs 11.79 lakh.

Booking details
The booking of Tata Tiago EV is going to start from October 10 and the company is going to start the delivery of this electric car from January 2023. Tata has reserved 2 thousand units of this car for your connected customers. Tigor EV was Tata’s cheapest electric car till now but now Tiago EV has become Tata’s and India’s cheapest electric car. All major car makers in India have electric cars above 20 lakhs.
The Tiago EV is the third electric car from Tata. Tata has previously launched it Nexon EV and Tigor EV in India. Tata is going to launch 7 more electric cars in the coming 4 years. Tata’s target was to launch 10 electric cars in India by 2026. So far, Tata has launched these three cars in India Nexon EV, Tigor EV and Tiago EV and there are 7 cars left which are going to be launched in the next 4 years.
