The dimensions are in line with the Volkswagen Tiguan all space and Skoda kodiaq that the commander will go up against. Jeep has also made an effort to ensure the commander doesn’t simply appear as a stretched compass either. The front end has been redone. The traditional seven slide Jeep grille is the centerpiece but the headlights are slimmer and come embellished by metallics around that sort of gives the appearance of a raised eyebrow.
The bonnet is different and even the front bumper is completely new. The squared-out wheel arches have been carried on to the commander with larger 19-inch alloy wheels on offer here. It’s behind the B pillar that you’d find the most significant changes the larger rear doors, extended glass house longer overhang, and more applied the pillar gives the commander a very different stance.
The manner the contrast roof flows into the tail end is slick while the slim LED tail lights linked by a metallic slip also give the commander an identity of its own. All the visual suggests the commander will look quite substantial in the metal. And that’s something sure to appeal to buyers who like their SUVs large.

There’s a clear link to the compass on the inside. The commander features the same dashboard with a 10.1-inch touchscreen taking pride in place. The driver environment is also familiar thanks to the 10.25-inch digital cluster and a three-spoke steering wheel that have been carried over to.
However, the commander does get a more upmarket suede finish on the dash and the seats also sport a leather and suede gumbo. It said the back that the commander distinguishes itself.
