The first significant update in the MY23 Alcazar is its engine. The new turbo-petrol motor replaces the 2.0-litre unit with a smaller 1.5-litre unit. Despite the reduction in engine size, the 2023 Alcazar now develops 158bhp and 253Nm of torque, making it more powerful than its predecessor. The engine is also BS6 Stage 2 and RDE-compliant, which means it meets the latest emission norms.
